The Hyundai Veloster three-door coupe was officially unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year. It features a unique coupe design with one door on the driver's side and two doors on the passenger side of the vehicle.
The Veloster is powered by a 1.6L four-cyl that puts out 138 horsepower and 123 lb-ft. of torque. The engine can be mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission. It's also expected to get around 40 mpg on the highway. A more powerful version is also reportedly planned, with rumors circulating that a turbocharged version will generate 208 horsepower from its 1.6L engine.
Sales of the Veloster will kick off first in Europe and sales in North America will commence later this year.
